This house sleeps 4 people in two bedrooms that both have ensuite shower-rooms. A few minutes walk from the village of Carbost where you will find the Old Inn to enjoy a meal and a few drinks without the need to drive, Talisker Distillery to indulge in an indepth whisky tasting tour. Along the road you will find the Oyster Shed where fresh oysters can be bought to take away or eaten onsite.
This house is in the area called Minginish, this area was cleared of the vast majority of its population between 1700’s to mid 1800’s. The area was resettled in the 1920’s. There are few of the orginal Skye families left, most having emigrated to Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South America or to the towns of the UK.
